Our Hoop Smart Academy is held after school and offers a structured program that progresses throughout the term and school year. Each term features an 8 or 9 week program, tailored towards developing skills, teamwork, and having fun.

The program aims to progress players in their abilities, wherever they might be, throughout the term. For beginners, we’ll focus on from basics such as familiarity of the ball, gaining control, introducing and fine tuning the basic fundamentals, moving with the ball, understanding the purpose of movement, rules of the game, and eventually game play.

For those slightly more advanced, we build on the basic fundamentals including motor skills, familiarity with the structure of the game, and working in a team environment. We also introduce more advanced ball skills, shooting, passing, and dribbling.
